It's far easier now at least, with Evan there with him. His heart feels light enough now that he almost feels like a dragon could show up and they'd still find a way to manage the problem together.
Although considering how many people seem to be in this place, perhaps it's a good thing that dragons aren't about to show up out of nowhere.
